Alfred Priess A/S takes over the activities of Intego Shelters

We are pleased to announce that the activities of Intego Shelters have been taken over by Alfred Priess A/S with effect from 1st April 2016.

Along with the takeover of Intego Shelters activities by Alfred Priess A/S there has been arranged a cooperation agreement within the installation area. Here Intego A/S has had great success with optimized production technology of Plug & Play Shelter solutions. Further there exists a solid, nationwide service setup. 

During recent years Alfred Priess A/S has invested in modern production facilities to produce technical cabins ( secondary substations, insulated and uninsulated cabins). This has increased the company´s market share. The technical cabins are now the biggest segment of Alfred Priess A/S´ 3 business areas. These areas comprise lighting columns, technical cabins and steel constructions. 

Intego has successfully developed  it´s main business within the areas of installation, automation, workshops and service. At the same time activities within the segment of Intego Shelters have stagnated.

The CEO of Alfred Priess A/S Ole Bjerre Christiansen explained ” It soon became clear that both companies complement each other very well regarding competences, techniques and customers. Alfred Priess A/S is producing a lot of products itself. This has strengthened our postion because compared to standard products there is an increasing number of tasks which are customized solutions. Overall, we are strengthening our competitiveness, because in the future we will combine installation competences of Intego A/S with Alfred Priess´s  manufacturing competences of technical cabins. Therefore customers are guaranteed the same high quality of the total delivery. These and future synergies will strengthen our market position."

As a result of this agreement the assembly installation of Intego Shelters will be moved to Vinderup/Danmark where the production facilities of Alfred Priess are situated. Alfred Priess A/S is looking forward to welcoming Intego Shelters employees. They are an important foundation for a successful tranfer.
