At Priess A/S we have a thoroughly tested concept of both standard and customized secondary substations.

For more than 25 years, we have continually updated and improved the cabin concept which we use today. This makes us valued business associates who always carry out our tasks professionally and in close dialog with you, our customer.
All secondary substations from Priess A/S are made at our own factory in Vinderup. This includes 99% of all parts that are included in the cabins.
This guarantees good Danish quality, speedy delivery, and high flexibility.
In addition to standard substations, we are able to deliver customized solutions in dimension incremental of 200 mm width and length and in the color of your choosing based on the RAL color chart.
We can deliver fully assembled to site. You may choose whether you wish to take charge of the delivery and the medium voltage system, or whether you would like us to take care of it.
All specially constructed substations are built as standard substations, but there are increases in dimension for profile pipes and reinforced roof profiles. In addition to this, the roof is also removable as with standard substations. The roof can be raised by using a hoist attached to each corner.
All substations (including standard substations) are available with or without concrete base plates for your recess for cabling.
We continually test the quality of secondary substations.
For example, in Spring 2015 we carried out a successful arc flash test under the terms of the 62271-202 standard of the KEMA Laboratories testing institution. The test was implemented as IEC standard-AB with 20kA in 1 sec.
An arc flash test is a test that ensures people passing the secondary substation are not harmed in the event of a short-circuit at the substation.
There is no statutory requirement in Denmark stating that arc flash tests should be carried out. But in order to assure you that our substations are the best and the safest, we continually test our secondary substations.
