This year we have once more had the immense pleasure of supporting local community associations. This is a tradition that we are resuming with new recipients – and with the same desire to make a positive difference to the community around us.
The Staff Association at Priess A/S has made donations of DKK 10,000 each to all of the following local initiatives:
Vinderup Gymnastics Association
Vinderup Gymnastics Association (VG-Vinderup) is a broad local association that offers gymnastics and a range of other activities to children, adults and senior citizens. The association promotes the joy of movement, community and a healthy lifestyle through activities such as gymnastics, swimming, floorball, karate, running and working out – and it is run entirely by dedicated volunteers.
Hjerm FIF – Football Tournament
Hjerm FIF is an active, local sports association and umbrella organisation with many different branches for children, adults and senior citizens alike. The association places emphasis on community, exercise and local cohesion, offering activities such as football, handball, badminton, climbing, tennis, and much more – promoting both broad participation and engagement in the local community.
Specialcenter Skovvang
Specialcenter Skovvang is a social initiative in Holstebro Municipality, providing temporary, round‑the‑clock accommodation for adults with complex social problems such as homelessness or challenges staying in their own home. The objective is to provide a safe environment, help participants to stabilise their situation and promote their future independence through care, support and advice.
We are proud to support initiatives that make a difference locally on a daily basis – and that help to build stronger communities.
