In the past, it has been necessary to increase the pressure and temperature for the entire pipeline network in order to ensure sufficient temperature and flow for the consumers at the outer reaches of the area.
The purpose of a low-temperature shunt cabin is to run the pipeline network at a low temperature, which will mean energy savings as a result of less heat loss in the pipes and simultaneous improvement of flow coverage.
Plug & Play
Here at Priess District Heating A/S, we want to make things easy and convenient for our customers by delivering cabins with complete installations which have been pressure-tested and EAFIS-tested (inspection and testing ahead of deployment). This means that the only thing needed for installation is connecting the district heating pipes and the supply cable.
Supply flow with shunt function
Here at Priess District Heating A/S, we offer you the possibility of connecting a shunt function to your supply flow pump cabin. This means not only that it is possible to increase differential pressure, but also that the pipeline network is able to maintain lower supply flow temperatures, which will result in less heat loss.
By using a Standard supply flow pump cabin with a shunt function, no longer will your heating system need to increase the pressure and temperature in the pipeline network, as all substandard supply conditions will be eliminated. As a result it is simultaneously possible to operate at a lower temperature, which will mean energy savings as a result of less heat loss.
Return flow with shunt function
Here at Priess District Heating A/S, we offer you the possibility of connecting a shunt function to your return flow pump cabin. This means not only that it is possible to increase pressure in the return line, but also to operate at low temperatures, which will result in energy savings through less heat loss and better flow coverage.
By using a Standard return flow pump cabin with a shunt function, no longer will your heating system need to increase the pressure and temperature in the pipeline network, as all substandard supply conditions will be eliminated.
Supply and return flow with shunt function
It is possible to combine the two features above and create a cabin which contains both: supply and return flows with shunt function.
