Completely wood-clad secondary substation built in the Danish town of Skjern. The substation is clad in Siberian larch and supplied with a pyramid roof and roofing felt. Several substations of this type have been established in Skjern and the town of Ringkøbing.
Wood cladding is an optimal choice for urban environments where the substation needs to blend in with its surroundings. Substations can be clad in different wood varieties depending on preference and painted in the client’s choice of colour. Alternatively, they can be supplied with a stone facing or another type of facing depending on client preference.
This substation was supplied with a fully assembled LV switchboard and lighting fixtures.
