In collaboration with Energi Midt, Priess A/S supplied a custom secondary substation to BMW in Herning, DK. The substation replaced an existing station of an older date which had been produced by another manufacturer.
The substation was adapted to the existing foundation with special dimensions and mounted directly onto the existing foundation in collaboration with Energi Midt.
LV and MV voltage systems from the existing station were reused. The equipment was loosened and could be left in place while the old structure was dismantled and the new station was then assembled and put in place.
Priess A/S assisted with the dismantling of the existing cabin and with installing the new secondary substation in its place.
The colour on the substation was chosen to match the facade colour of the new BMW building.
