The Nordic region’s largest solar farm is currently under construction at an old airport in Vandel, near the Danish town of Billund. The plant will occupy an area covering approximately 80 hectares on the old airfield.
Priess A/S undertook production of the fully assembled secondary substations including all accessories and fittings so that only the outgoing cables had to be connected to the stations during installation.
Deliver on site was made using Priess’ own crane trucks.
The entire delivery of 126 secondary substations was made over a period of just seven weeks.
Over the course of autumn, as many as 200 secondary substations were supplied to solar cell projects.
